Hi, Can anyone recommend the best way to cover up/remove marks on pine furniture please. Is there a good wax?

The furniture in question is a Ducal Bureau with a few small indentations on the top.

My experience of Ducal is that it is laqueured furniture and once the laqueur is damage/dented the easist fix is from a hardware shop. Get a small bottle of "scratchtop", or similar, comes in various colours/shades. Just give the damage a dab with the brush supplied in the lid, a quick sweep with a rag to remove excess and you get a very acceptable result. I use it often, in the furniture trade. On occasions I have mixed my own too. Happened to have some yacht varnish handy when I ran out of the other stuff so I mixed some wood dye with the varnish and, hey presto... used in the same way,did the job.
