Looking for a place/website that I can find affordable cedar furniture or refinishing instructions.?
Just got an antique cedar armoire and child's rocking chair off of ebay. Already received the chair and it is beautiful beyond imagine. I'm totally in love with cedar right now, particularly Eastern Red Cedar. A birthday present for my youngest! I wish I had one for me! Any ideas where I can purchase more high gloss red cedar furniture that is affordable? How would I be able to get the same dramatic effects if I refinished a piece of furniture myself?
strip, sand, stain (comes in hundreds of colors and finishes), seal. many coats of polyurethane will give it a high gloss finish, and protect the wood from stains.
